Preparation: Let the frozen pastry soften at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 200C.
Cut the softened pastry sheet to twice the size of a piece of chocolate. Lightly moisten the edges of the sheet with water (not listed).
Cover with another piece of pastry and firmly press the edges together with a fork.
Make light cuts in the center of the top sheet for an attractive finish.
They also look cute if you pierce holes in the surface with a fork.
Line up on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush on egg yolk mixed with a teaspoon of water for the glaze.
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 200C. When they are a nice golden colour, they're done. Bake until they're as golden as you like.
