Roughly chop the tomato and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Add the olive oil to a small saucepan (or a frying pan). Add the garlic and saute over low heat.
When the garlic is fragrant, turn the heat up to medium. Add the onions and stir fry until translucent.
Add the tomato.
Add the ＊ ingredients. Finally, add salt to season. Cook until the sauce has reduced, and you're all done.
