Put the tomatoes in a pan while crushing them up with your hands. (The photo shows how they look after heating...)
Add the rest of the ingredients, and simmer over low heat. After 5 minutes it should look like the sauce in the photo. It's done!
Spread generously on pizza and enjoy while piping hot!
These are the canned tomatoes and basil I used. The canned tomatoes were 128 yen per 400 g can, and the basil was 230 yen for 4 grams.
You can freeze leftover canned tomatoes. Line a plastic container with plastic wrap and pour in the tomatoes. Gather the wrap over the tomato so that it doesn't spill out, and freezer.
You can also freeze it in zip bags, and just break off some as needed.
